DEUTZ AG (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”) is the organiser of the “DEUTZ Greenfield Award” (hereinafter referred to as the “Award”).
1. Scope of application
1.1 Participation in the Award is subject to the following conditions of participation. The current version of the Terms and Conditions of Participation can be viewed, downloaded, and printed at any time on the website www.greenfield-award.deutz.com under the link “Terms and Conditions of Participation”.
1.2 We reserve the right to extend the DEUTZ Greenfield Award without prior notice and without giving reasons, in particular if the planned implementation of the Award cannot be guaranteed for legal or technical reasons or due to force majeure.
1.3 The closing date for applications is 17 May 2024. The Organiser reserves the right to extend the deadline.
2. Who can apply or be nominated?
2.1 The Award is open to currently enrolled students and university staff.
2.2 Only the participant can register on the website to enter the Award. By registering for the Award, the participant assures that he/she is at least 18 years old.
2.3 By registering, the participant accepts the terms and conditions of the Award. In the event of failure to comply with these terms and conditions, the Organiser reserves the right to take appropriate action, including disqualification of entrants.
2.4 No legal action will be taken against the Award or the awarding of prizes to the winners.
3. Competition entries
3.1 Entries may only be submitted if they do not violate applicable law or the rights of third parties (in particular copyrights and personal rights) and do not contain content that glorifies violence, is offensive or pornographic. All illegal or unethical files or texts will be deleted by the Organiser and the participant will be excluded from the contest. The same applies to files and texts that are clearly not in line with the objectives of the Award or that infringe the rights of third parties.
3.2 If photographs are uploaded and one or more persons are recognisable in the photographs or other images, the persons concerned must agree to the publication of the images, otherwise the images may not be uploaded. The person uploading the image warrants that he or she has the appropriate consent for use and can provide it in writing upon request. If consent is withdrawn, the Organiser must be informed immediately.
4. Privacy Policy
4.1 The Privacy Policy applies and is available to candidates at www.greenfield-award.deutz.com.
5. Prizes, prize notification and award ceremony
5.1 The Organiser shall appoint a jury of experts to objectively evaluate the entries and select the winners. The jury will award three prizes for the DEUTZ Greenfield Award and one prize for the Special Design Award.
5.2 All winners will be notified by the Organiser. The Award will be presented at an event attended by external guests and the press.
6. Other
6.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively. Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, inadmissible or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions.
6.2 Online consumer dispute resolution: Consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code) are referred to the following alternative dispute resolution portal: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ (Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 on Online Dispute Resolution for consumer disputes, in short: ODR Regulation).
6.3 The Organiser is neither willing nor obliged to participate in any dispute resolution procedure before a consumer dispute resolution body.
